Rainswood Gardens is a small daylily nursery owned and operated by Bill Kirby. Located in Heathsville, VA on Virginia's beautiful Northern Neck, we grow over 550 cultivars of hybrid daylilies, and  offer  them primarily through this web site and by word of mouth.

Our emphasis is on AHS award winners and the "garden workhorses"  --  daylilies that are not only beautiful, but also dependable and vigorous. I look particularly for those cultivars that need the least pampering of any sort.

We do not currently do any of our own daylily hybridizing. And for now, prefer to enjoy and marvel at the results being produced by all the great hybridizers at work today. 

We don't keep regular business hours, but visitors are always welcome.  If you will be in the area and would like to visit the garden please call  ahead (804-580-8104) and I will be happy to give you directions.  We are located at 418 Coan Stage Road, Heathsville, VA 22473.

Rainswood Gardens Daylily Nursery is inspected annually by the Virginia Department of Agriculture. 

We are members of the American Hemerocallis Society, Region 3.
